Seafood From Canada European Export Café – Rome, Paris, and London – February 3-11, 2025

About The Seafood From Canada – European Export Café:

Innovation PEI, in partnership with the Atlantic Provincial Seafood Trade Group and the Government of Canada, is currently recruiting Island, export-ready seafood companies that are interested in participating in the Seafood Export Café trade mission to Europe, visiting Rome, Paris and London.

Participating Island seafood companies will participate in organized business-to-business (B-2-B) meetings with qualified European seafood buyers in each key seafood market.

B-2-B meetings will be held in-person for each of the three European locations followed by a networking activity. Meetings will be facilitated and organized by professional in-market consultants and Trade Commissioners.

 

Schedule:

Rome, Italy – February 3-4 (Monday & Tuesday)

Paris, France – February 6-7 (Thursday & Friday)

London, England – February 10-11 (Monday & Tuesday)

 

Why Participate:

  • B-2-B Match-Making – Work with an in-market consultant and the Trade Commissioners to organize in-person meetings with qualified European seafood buyers.
  • Market Access & Networking opportunities – Engage and connect with qualified European seafood buyers in three key European markets and participate in networking events.
  • Financial Support – Participating Island companies may be eligible for up to 40% of pre-determined eligible travel costs via the IPEI Export Trade Assistance Program

 

Registration Process & Fees:

There is a two-step registration process to participate.

  • Step 1: Register for the Prince Edward Island delegation by contacting Innovation PEI Trade Development Officer, Lannia Pan MacAleer via email @ lpmacaleer@gov.pe.ca
  • Step 2: Confirm your registration for the Seafood Export Café to Europe – download, complete and submit the registration form to Lobster Council of Canada Executive Director, Geoff Irvine @ irvine@lobstercouncilcanada.ca
  • Deadline to Register – November 15, 2025

The project team reserves the right to limit the number of participants based on successful matchmaking in each country and/or overwhelming interest. In this case please confirm your firm’s interest as soon as possible as we will manage in a first come, first served basis.
