June 2

Innovation PEI is inviting export-ready businesses from Prince Edward Island in the fields of engineering, architecture, clean and marine technologies, renewable energy, and manufacturing to participate in the PEI Multi-Sector Trade Mission to the Caribbean, taking place June 2–8, 2025.

A key feature of the mission will be attendance at the Annual General Meetings of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC), scheduled for June 4–6, 2025, in Willemstad, Curaçao. In addition to the AGM, participating PEI companies will benefit from pre-arranged B2B meetings and a port tour, providing direct engagement opportunities with senior executives from four Caribbean port authorities.

PMAC represents 26 full members and 44 ports across the Caribbean, along with 38 associate members from the private sector. This year’s AGM will bring together senior executives from Caribbean port authorities, maritime stakeholders, and government agencies, along with international partners, to explore strategic opportunities for cooperation and transformation within the region’s maritime and trade sectors. Key focal themes of the 2025 AGM include:

  1. Port Modernization and Infrastructure Development
  2. Technological Innovation in Maritime Operations and Trade Facilitation
