Atlantic Canada Trade Mission to the 2026 Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF)

Innovation PEI is seeking interest from export-ready PEI-based companies to participate in an Atlantic Canada Trade Mission to the 2026 Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF) in Panama City, Panama, Oct. 14-16, 2026. This mission is coordinated by the Environmental Services Association Maritimes (ESAM) with the Support of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).

Location: Panama City, Panama

In 2026, CREF comes to Panama City for the first time. As the logistics and finance hub of Latin America, Panama puts CREF at the geographic center of Caribbean and Central American energy investment. Expect actionable insights and strategies for accelerating the Caribbean’s energy transition, now from the regional hub of Panama City.

In 2025, over 140 B2B custom meetings were organized for the 11 delegate companies that attended. 100% of delegates reported that this was a valuable event and would attend again in 2026. As a result of delegate meetings in CREF 2025, 41 high prospect meetings were conservatively projected to yield $2,925,000 in new business and delegates were introduced to new projects totaling $116 million, that they will be submitting/have submitted proposals for.
