About the Panel

The Advisory Panel will consist of 3–5 members with diverse backgrounds related to defence, procurement, innovation, industry development, or economic strategy. Members will provide expert advice and engage with stakeholders across Prince Edward Island and beyond.

Desired Expertise

Recognizing that not all potential panelists will have all of the criteria noted below, ideal panelists may have:

• Experience in defence, aerospace, security, or related industry sectors.
• Knowledge of defence procurement processes.
• Understanding of innovation ecosystems and economic development.
• Background in business strategy, supply chain development, or advanced manufacturing.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory environments.
• Experience working with government, Indigenous communities, or research institutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in panel meetings (in person or virtual).
• Review relevant documents and background materials.
• Provide strategic insight and recommendations.
• Engage with companies and stakeholders as needed.

• A brief statement of interest outlining relevant experience.
• A current résumé or curriculum vitae.
• Any additional information demonstrating suitability for the panel.
