Meet Lannia Pan MacAleer!
A passion for international trade
Lannia Pan MacAleer is a Canadian Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) with 23 years of management experience in international trade, working across China, the United States, and Canada, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America markets. Her expertise includes business planning, Strategic market entry strategies, risk management, global sourcing, and import/export operations. She has also managed foreign investment attractions, branding, marketing, and sales, while led many global trade and procurement missions, marketing and promotional events.
Lannia currently serves as a Trade Development Officer with the Department of Economic Growth, Innovation and Trade within the provincial government of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Previously, she held senior management roles in China and the United States in global trade operations. Lannia is also an active volunteer and community leader, having been the first Asian Canadian board member of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, founding the Island Chinese Business Association, the Chinese Society of PEI, and PEI Chinese Marathon Club in Prince Edward Island, Canada.
Lannia holds an Elite Certified International Trade Professional designation from FITT Canada, a Certificate of Specialization in Leadership and Management from Harvard Business School, a Canadian diploma in international trade and a Chinese diploma in English education.
