Let’s pull back the curtain on our social media, and meet Justine, our Marketing Coordinator!

They are the newest member of our marketing team, managing our social media, graphic design, and website content. 

“I love being able to tell the stories that make up the fabric of our vibrant economy on the island, and empowering those who are making waves in the business, arts, and cultural communities in PEI!”

They just moved to the island from Fredericton, NB in January of this year, but are originally from London, Ontario, having grown up on one of the largest Standardbred race horse farms in Canada. 

Outside of work, you’ll usually find her outside, searching for rocks on the beach, making friends with all the animals, or playing in their garden! They love being involved in advocacy work for 2SLGBTQAI+ communities, animal welfare, as well as dabbling in poetry, painting, crafting and other arts initiatives. 

Although it changes often, her favourite movie currently is the Barbie movie for its campy feminist critique of modern life, with a hint of childhood nostalgia! 

When asked what about the best advice she ever received, they said “The piece of advice that has had a biggest impact on my life is not to ask yourself if you’ve done enough work to deserve rest, but instead to ask if you’ve rested enough to do your best work. This completely changed the way I balance my life, and prioritize self care!”
