Innovation PEI, in partnership with the Interministerial Women’s Secretariat, has recently announced a call for applications for Gender-Based Violence Arts Grants. The purpose of this call for applications to provide financial support for the creation and dissemination of artistic projects that raise public awareness of gender-based violence (GBV) and its impacts as well as promote prevention of GBV. This specific call for applications coincides with Prince Edward Island’s bilateral funding agreement with Women and Gender Equality Canada towards the implementation of the National Action Plan to End Gender Based Violence (NAP)
