Business in PEI 2021: A year in review

The past year has been quite a year for Prince Edward Island, and for the people and businesses that live and work here. We’ve seen significant changes in almost every aspect of our lives, from buying groceries, to entertaining and dining to how we buy or sell products both locally and abroad.

At Innovation PEI, we are honoured to have been able to be a part of that. We’ve heard stories of hardship and seen the struggles Islanders have faced, but we’ve also seen hardships turn to prosperity, and struggles turn to growth.  Entrepreneurs and their teams that call PEI home are behind the scenes working hard and adapting to an exponentially fast-changing economic climate. They’ve not only kept up with it but found ways to get ahead and shine.

During this time, the Innovation PEI team has also had to adapt and change to meet with these new challenges. We’ve updated old programs and made new ones to make sure we can continue to provide services that are relevant to the needs of our clients and the economy. And we’re not done yet!! There is still more to come as we adapt and review our programs and services to keep up with our clients and continuously find ways to help new ones.

All of the staff at Innovation PEI have gone above and beyond this past year. They’ve worked harder than ever putting heart and soul in to everything they do to make sure that we are meeting the needs of Island businesses and their staff.
