DESCRIPTION:Innovation PEI is seeking interest from export-ready PEI-based agrifood companies to participate in the Canada Agrifood Pavilion & Agricultural Products Hall at the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE)\, taking place in Shanghai from November 5 to 10\, 2026. \n\n\nThe pavilion\, organized with support from the Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai\, will showcase high-quality Canadian products and provide participating companies with opportunities to connect with Chinese buyers\, distributors\, and media through a globally recognized trade platform. \n\n\nDates: November 5 to 10\, 2026 \n\n\nLocation: Shanghai\, China \n\n\nMission Key Sector: \n\n\nAgriculture and Agri-food\, including fish and seafood\n\n\nWhy Participate: \n\n\nDirect access to a large\, high-quality pool of international buyers and decision-makers at one of China’s most influential import platforms.\nOpportunity to showcase products within an official Canada Pavilion\, enhancing credibility and national brand visibility.\nPre-arranged B2B matchmaking and on-site promotional activities to accelerate connections with Chinese buyers and distributors.\nEntry to Consulate-led networking\, events\, and shared meeting spaces\, supporting relationship-building and deal development.\n\n\nClick here to download more information on CIIE\, including Exhibitor Requirements. \n\n\nFunding Support: Innovation PEI’s Export Trade Assistance can cover up to 40-60% of eligible travel-related expenses for eligible participating companies from PEI\, including economy airfare\, accommodations\, and meals.
