DESCRIPTION:The Pan-Atlantic provinces\, working jointly with Food and Beverage Atlantic\, are seeking Atlantic Canadian seafood companies to attend the Conxemar Frozen Seafood Exhibition in Vigo\, Spain October 7-9\, 2025. \nThe Conxemar trade show takes place in Vigo\, Spain\, an important fishing port in Europe\, and serves as the meeting point for the entire processing sector\, including wholesalers\, importers\, exporters\, manufacturers\, distributors\, cold storage\, and machinery. Spain is an important market for Canadian fish and seafood exporters. DESCRIPTION:Innovation PEI\, in partnership with the The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS)\, is recruiting export ready Island companies to co-exhibit in the Canada Pavilion at Expo ANTAD & Alimentaria Mexico (Expo ANTAD) taking place in Guadalajara\, Mexico from May 18-22\, 2026. \n\n\nDates: May 18-22\, 2026 \n\n\nLocation: Guadalajara\, Mexico \n\n\nExpo ANTAD (Asociación Nacional de Tiendas de Autoservicio y Departamentales\, which translates to the National Association of Supermarkets and Department Stores) and Alimentaria is Mexico’s largest retail-focused trade show. The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) in Mexico has coordinated a Canada Pavilion at this event for over a decade with participation from key Canada agri-food trade associations as well as Canadian provinces. The Expo is divided into two halls – the national hall where major retail organizations have their stands and the international hall where we can find many country pavilions. \n\n\nWhy Participate: \n\n\nAt the March 2025 edition of ANTAD\, the expo counted more than 1\,200 exhibitors and the event was attended by close to 47\,000 visitors from 67 countries.\nMexico’s major retailers\, convenience stores\, specialty stores\, and department store chains\, as well as a range of distributors have booths at the event with buyers onsite.\nGreat visibility for companies who are already present in the Mexican market and for new-to-market exporters.\nThe Trade Commissioner Service will again be offering pre-show webinars as well as on-site activities including a briefing\, market and retail tours and a group dinner\nFor an additional fee\, companies can have access to customized B2B meetings during the show organized by a seasoned consultant we have worked with for many years.\n\n\nAt the last edition of ANTAD in March 2025\, the Canada Pavilion showcased 21 Canadian exhibitors. Companies took part in a pre-event briefing and visits as well as a program of pre-arranged B2B meetings\, held in-person at the expo. The B2B program resulted in 258 coordinated meetings with Mexican retailers\, importers and/or distributors for the 21 Canadian companies\, an average of 12 meetings per company with their key targets. DESCRIPTION:Innovation PEI is seeking interest from export-ready PEI-based companies to participate in the Team Canada Trade Mission to Japan\, taking place from Tuesday\, June 23 to Friday\, June 26\, 2026. \n\n\nThis trade mission will help Island exporters and innovators position themselves in the Japanese market by showcasing their capabilities and competitiveness while facilitating long-term\, diversified trade and investment opportunities. \n\n\nDates: Tuesday\, June 23 to Friday\, June 26\, 2026 \n\n\nLocation: Tokyo\, Japan \n\n\nMission Key Sectors: \n\n\nAgriculture and Agri-food\, including fish and seafood\nClean Technologies and Energy Transition\nDefence and Security\, including Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing\nForestry and Forest Products\nInformation and Communication Technologies\, including Artificial Intelligence (AI)\n\n\nWhy Participate: \n\n\nOn-site business briefings by Trade Commissioners\, senior officials and key local industry experts.\nSector-specific site visits.\nPre-arranged business-to-business meetings\, offered in priority to participating small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating within the trade mission sectors.\n\n\nWho is eligible to participate?\nEligibility criteria for Canadian SMEs\nTo be considered for this trade mission\, Canadian SMEs must clearly demonstrate how they meet the following criteria: \n\n\nOperate in one of the trade mission’s eligible sectors\nBe export-ready with demonstrated potential for success in the Japanese market\nMeet the eligibility criteria to qualify as a client of the TCS\n\n\nUnder the defence and security focus\, given the particularities of the industry and strategic priorities in Japan\, this TCTM caters specifically to Canadian companies that are well established\, with a demonstrable track record\, technology deployed and international experience\, ensuring clear ability to navigate the Japanese procurement system effectively and capacity to pursue long-term engagement. \n\n\nEligibility criteria for other Canadian organizations and large businesses\nTo be considered for this trade mission\, large businesses\, trade associations and chambers of commerce must clearly demonstrate they: \n\n\nare strategically aligned with the trade mission’s eligible sectors\ncan contribute to fostering partnerships\, knowledge exchange or economic development\nhave the ability to bring demonstrated value to the trade mission through expertise\, resources or collaboration opportunities\n\n\nTravel Considerations and Expenses:\nThere is no fee to participate in the trade mission. However\, participants are responsible for organizing their own travel arrangements\, including all air and ground transportation to and from the airport\, and making their own accommodation reservations.
