SUMMARY:Atlantic Canada Trade Mission to SIAL Paris and the UK
DESCRIPTION:Innovation PEI\, in partnership with the provinces of Nova Scotia\, New Brunswick\, Prince Edward Island\, and Newfoundland and Labrador\, working with Taste of Nova Scotia as the proponent\, is seeking interest from export-ready PEI-based food\, beverage and seafood* companies to participate in an Atlantic Canada Trade Mission to SIAL Paris B2B Walker Program\, October 17-20\, 2026. \n\n\nAs an add-on to the SIAL Paris B2B Walker Program\, we are exploring the possibility of a mission to the UK from October 13-15\, 2026 (dates TBC). This Expression of Interest will gauge company interest and insight into which markets in the UK are of primary interest. \n\n\nDates: October 17-20\, 2026 (and possibly October 13-15\, 2026) \n\n\nLocation: Paris\, France (and possibly the UK) \n\n\nMission Key Sectors: \n\n\nFood and Beverage\nSeafood*\n\n\n*While the focus is on food and beverage companies\, consideration will be given to seafood companies. \n\n\nWhy Participate: \n\n\nGather market intelligence\, identify new markets\, and increase sales to international markets\nMeet the players shaping the future of food and make connections in the heart of global food innovation\nAttend inspiring SIAL Talks conferences and the highlights of the SIAL Summits\nDiscover\, in preview\, the innovations that will define tomorrow’s trends in the SIAL Innovation area\nTaste of Atlantic Canada reception in both London and Paris\nMarket entry product assessments as well as in-market roundtable\, industry networking\, and site visits in the UK\n\n  \n\nSIAL Paris Mission Features: \n\n\nCompanies wishing to participate in the SIAL Paris B2B Show Walker Program will travel to Paris\, France\, to walk the SIAL Paris Show from October 17 to 20\, 2026. SIAL Paris is a true immersion into the heart of global food innovation. Participants can explore the halls and meet the players shaping the future of food\, attend inspiring SIAL Talks conferences and the highlights of the SIAL Summits\, and discover\, in preview\, the innovations that will define tomorrow’s trends in the SIAL Innovation area. Mission features in Paris\, France may include\, but are not limited to: \n\n\nPre-mission briefings\nIn-Market B2B/Export Café\nCanadian reception in both London and Paris\nRetail store tours\nMarket research\n\n\n\nUK Mission Features: \n\n\nCompanies interested in participating in the potential UK portion of the mission\, please complete the expression of interest and indicate which markets in the UK are of particular interest. This mission would take place from October 13-15\, 2026 (dates TBC). Mission features could include: \n\n\nPre-mission briefings/webinars\nMarket entry product assessments\nIn-market roundtable and industry networking\nTaste of Atlantic Canada reception\nSite visits & store tours\nPotential B2B program\n\n  \n\n\nFunding Support: \nInnovation PEI’s Export Trade Assistance can cover up to 60% of eligible travel-related expenses for eligible participating companies from PEI. Please submit an application prior to booking any flights or hotels.
