SUMMARY:World Food Expo (WOFEX) 2025- August 6-9\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Trade Commissioner Service of the Embassy of Canada in the Philippines is pleased to invite you to participate as an exhibitor under the Canadian Pavilion at the World Food Expo (WOFEX) 2025 from August 6 to 9\, 2025\, and as a delegate in our pre-WOFEX targeted B2B meetings and company visits from August 4 to 5\, 2025). \nThe WOFEX is a 4-day tradeshow\, and has been the largest food and beverages tradeshow in the Philippines for over 20 years. WOFEX attracts over 40\,000 trade show visitors annually\, coming from the Philippine agriculture\, agri-food and seafood industry (food service institutions\, importers and distributors\, food processing companies\, agents and indentors\, and retailers). WOFEX includes a number of trade show segments including FineFoods (for food and beverages)\, FoodPackPro (for products and services related to food packaging\, manufacturing and handling)\, FoodServe (showcases food service equipment\, kitchenware and bakeware)\, The Hotel Summit (an expo focused on the growing food and hospitality industry)\, WOFEX University (a series of seminars including food and beverage industry practitioners) and the Philippine Culinary Cup or PCC (the most prestigious culinary competition in the market). \nOn the margins of WOFEX\, the Embassy will participate in FineFoods and PCC\, aside from organizing a business development (B2B) initiative to target key players in the Philippine agri-food market prior to WOFEX to promote Canada as a reliable source of safe and quality agri-food products and facilitate commercial partnerships between Canadian and Philippine companies. \nWe’re also pleased to let you know that WOFEX is happening two weeks after the Food Hotel Indonesia (FHI)\, if you are also interested in FHI\, you may contact TCS in Jakarta\, Indonesia (details below). \nProducts that are identified with high potential in the Philippines for WOFEX 2025: \n\nCommodities: Raw materials for food processing companies (i.e. dairy/whey powder\, flour from soy\, potatoes\, etc.\, meats including beef\, pork and poultry\, potatoes (including French fries)\, sweeteners\, etc.\nProcessed Food and Beverages (retail-packaged\, also open to products with capacity for private label): Sweet and savoury snack foods\, potato chips\, juices\, cookies\, condiments\, breakfast items\, canned food\, wines and spirits\, non-alcoholic beverages\, etc.\nSeafood: Retail-packaged and ingredients for HORECA seafood products\, lobsters\, cod\, salmon\, mussels\, etc.\n\nBenefits in joining WOFEX 2025 as a Canadian exhibitor: \n\nIncrease commercial agri-food network in the Philippines including importers\, food service operators\, retailers\, media\, social media influencers during the WOFEX Welcome Reception;\nFacilitation of B2Bs at the 72-sqm Canadian Pavilion at WOFEX 2025 (participating exhibitors will be provided a podium for a cost by AAFC);\nPromotion your company on social media leading up to\, during and after WOFEX;\nDissemination of trade leads received at the Canadian Pavilion; and\nInclusion in cooking demonstrations\, product sampling and the Welcome Reception menu at the Canadian Pavilion.\n\nFor more information on WOFEX\, click here! \nCompanies that are interested to register as exhibitors for WOFEX 2025\, please email: \n\nMr. Christian Lauziere christian.lauziere@AGR.GC.CA and Ms. Michelle Jardine michelle.jardine@AGR.GC.CA\n\ncc: the team in the Philippines (Angel.Cachuela@international.gc.ca and Louise.Pasadilla@international.gc.ca).\nAs slots are limited (i.e. the Canadian Pavilion will only have space for 7 Canadian exhibitors)\, space reservations will be allotted on a first come\, first served basis and selection of exhibitors will be made by Agriculture and Agri-food Canada (AAFC).\n\n\n\n  \n\nFor companies that are also interested in participating as an Exhibitor to Food Hotel Indonesia (FHI) on July 22 to 25\, 2025.
